i hope y'all are having a happy monday! luckily, most of us get today off due to Martin Luther King, Jr. day. i'm so happy i get one more day before my first day of student teaching. i'm nervous, y'all! it is going to be a very busy semester and i just hope to do well. prayers for peace, organization, and success are appreciated!
i want to share with you this amazing recipe that was kindly given to me by my dear friend mary hannah. her mother made this for us on the weekend of mary hannah's engagement party and it was delicious.
cream cheese chocolate chip pound cake
cream: 3 sticks butter
8 oz. cream cheese
3 cups sugar
add: 6 large eggs [one at a time]
add: alternately 3 cups cake flour
3 tsp. vanilla
mix together and fold in one bag of mini chocolate chips.
bake at 325 for 1.5 hours.
