holiday baking.
1. the famous red velvet cake balls that are requested at every holiday.
2. katie's haystacks. mmmm!
i also made bacon wrapped cherries for christmas eve and they were a hit! anything wrapped in bacon is genius.
recipe:
1 lb of bacon [i used maple turkey bacon]
1 tub of candied cherries [you can find them in the baking aisle]
toothpicks
directions: cut bacon into 4 inch strips. fry bacon in a pan until almost done but still very limp.
wrap cherries with bacon and skew them with a toothpick and place on a baking pan.
bake in oven for 10 minutes. let cool for 5 minutes. eat.
