Has anybody else noticed that with each new patch Safari gets snappier and the battery life gets worse? :D

Actually, I felt my battery did get worse with 4.3.0. I'm not sure about 4.3.1 yet, but I jailbreaked at 4.3.1 so it's not really a fair comparison for me.

It doesn't sound like all that much, Apple has a possible 100 million customers if MobileMe becomes free to use as backup. That is about 120 MB per user, pathetic. How much does Amazon have at the moment?

That is raw data space so no redundancy but also not compressed, i think raw data = usable data.

Apple products are too often kept at RRP - not sure if its always by agreements with apple - "don't discount more than 10% or lose authorised reseller status"

Isilon is pretty good for what it is, cheap and deep storage (cheap in relation to other enterprise storage solutions). Now if they just fixed their buggy code ...

They did what had to be done in a time when nobody wanted to acknowledge what was happening. And they also tried to fight the ignorance that was associated with the disease..IE..."gay plague". You are evidence that they need to continue their work.

Is a "test tube baby" (I do hope you know there are much more modern ways) by a gay/lesbian any less than that of a straight person? Does it matter how we are having them? The point is that we are. And snide remarks doesn't negate it. I understand that the concept is scary for you and people who think like you. I do hope that you can learn to adapt to our changing world. One even more important change, which I KNOW they won't do, is use a universal radio chip that can support GOS and CDMA networks - no more having to buy a new phone every time you switch carriers - oops, that cuts agains Apple's AND the carriers interest - not much traction there.

It could potentially reduce Apple's manufacturing costs, so there may be some traction there.

Valet happens to be one of the few departments I oversee at the resort I work at... ive driven a few that have come through here and must say, certainly one of the top 3 cars ive ever driven.

Nice. Of course in Atlanta (especially since I'm in between Midtown & Buckhead), we see all those supercars. But the best I've seen was an imported JDM (seemingly) GT-R R34 sitting in the 2nd level parking deck of Atlantic Station.

If I ever get an iPhone again, I will never, ever update the software until waiting a couple months and finding out if it's causing problems for people. When Apple released their 3.0 iOS, it made my iPhone 2G so laggy that it pretty much broke the phone.

Its never a good thing when the guy behind the reason we buy Mac's leaves. :(

For the user who mentioned that he was behind OS X flaws (you mentioned iTunes bloat) - you are wrong. iTunes isn't run directly by the Mac OS development team, it has its own department. There's probably a little crossover however generally he wouldn't have much input on iTunes.
