i am definitely looking forward to what this year holds. it is the year i have looked forward to since i was a little girl--graduating from college! there are so many more great things to look forward to, as well.
as for my fabulous new years eve, i babysat for two wonderful kids that i have watched grow up the last 5+ years. we made pizza, cookies[which, sadly, turned out gross], and did a little arts and crafts. the kids went to bed early so it was just me and the snooki drop at midnight. yes, i said snooki drop.
[i did get a sweet call from my darling boyfriend]
then, i went to sleep.

i am looking forward to the new year--the year of major change. in 2011 i will student teach, turn 23, graduate, travel to romania, germany, and france, move back home to atlanta and find a big girl job. whew. i'm also looking forward to completing my 11 for 2011 list.

nell over at on the first day of marriage had the great idea of making a list of things to achieve throughout 2011. i decided to think of eleven meaningful things that will make 2011 extra wonderful. don't think these are resolutions! no, no no. i do not like resolutions. these, my lovely readers, are goals, ambitions, desires. much more than the flimsy resolutions i used to come up with.
i will admit...i did kind of cheat.
i already know that i am graduating with honors.
i am traveling to romania, germany, and france in may. [therefore, i already know i will travel somewhere new]
but that's only two tiny cheats. they were too big of a deal to leave out!
what ambitions do you have for 2011? i would love to hear.

finals week is in full swing and thankfully i only have one tomorrow. [perks of being a senior education major]
however, i am still stressed and am hoping for an A on my math final to get an A in the class.
anyways, as i was studying i kept thinking of the many things i have to look forward to in the coming months and i thought i would share them with you!
1. my 5th annual christmas cookie swap party
2. seeing my best friend lauren
[since she moved to baltimore, we only see each
other once a year :( ]
3. Postsecret is coming to my university in february.
yesssssss!
4. my mission trip to Romania to help with this organization. 2 weeks of loving on children in an orphanage and hospital and sharing the
love of Jesus with them. amazing.
5. after the heart-breaking trip to romania, i will have a free day in paris...
