The stars are so many different things. Long ago, when there were no gadgets to guide the sailor or traveling, the stars were used to help them monitor their direction. For sailors, it was known as starfish. Nomads have also used the star as a compass to guide them where to go. The sun is a star, and she was used to tell time, and even to this day. That is why we have the term "High Noon", which means the sun is directly above us.
