i'm so sorry for my absence on here this week. i was busy with teaching, lesson plans, getting ready for my kids' valentine's day party yesterday, and then...
the flu happened.
i will admit, i actually cried when the school nurse told me i had to go home due to a 101 degree temperature. i had 3 lessons to teach and the big valentine's day bash. i love valentine's day and i definitely didn't want to miss the excitment of my kids. but, i knew i had to leave.
so, i drove home all the way back to atlanta and my winter break begins! y'all, i'm so happy to be home.
anyways, i want to share, with you, my favorite flu treats: [because the best part of being sick is you get whatever you want!]
sea salt caramel gelato, publix bakery cookies, and of course, chicken tortilla soup.
